He was predeceased by: his parents, Hunter Darden, Sr. and Sallie Lankford Darden; his wife Jean Howell Darden; his siblings, Dorothy D. Cotton, Louise D. Vaughan, Harvey Darden, Sr., Thomas I. Darden and Charles B. Darden; his sister-in-law Phyllis Mewborn; and his daughter-in-law Kathy Darden.
He is survived by: his children, Sharon Darden Kasper, Hunter Darden III and Richard E. "Ricky" Darden (Cindy); his grandchildren, Daryl Edward Kasper, Kelle Jean Moore, Hunter Darden IV (Christi), Jerimy Mulder, Casey Mulder, Missi Hatfield (Rickey) and Kate Couch (Matt); and his great grandchildren, Ethan Dale Kasper, Riley Ann Kasper, Kara Tru Hatfield, Gage Hatfield, Evie Couch, James, Cody, Sidney, Makinleigh and Christopher.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to Sycamore Baptist Church.
