She was predeceased by: her husband Emmett Ronnie Womble, Sr.; her parents, Charlie Hedgepeth and Daisy Lee Whitley Hedgepeth; and her siblings, Ervine Hedgepeth, Florence Lane, Carolyn Truelove and Betty Chaney.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Adams (Don) of Roanoke, VA, Juanita Smith (Jim) of Berryville, VA and Emmett Womble, Jr. of Franklin, VA; her grandson Ean Zachary Smith; and her siblings, Diane Hoggard (Gene) of Conway, NC, Sandra Lowder (Ron) of Pooler, GA, James "Bill" Hedgepeth of Tyner, NC, Chris Hedgepeth (Carol) of Winchester, TN and Calvin Hedgepeth of Ahoskie, NC. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to the East Pavilion Discretionary Fund.
