It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Saunders Marshall of Franklin, Virginia, who passed away on December 31, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Alfred Herbert Marshall, Jr.; her parents, Willie Allen Saunders and Otelia Gay Saunders; and her siblings, Sarah Edwards, Mary Elizabeth Munford, Willie Clark, Charlotte Malcolm-Woodie, Nancy Hall, Rebecca Hedgepeth, Willie Allen Saunders, Jr. and Johnnie Roosevelt Saunders.
She is survived by: her daughters, Amy M. Salvitti (Matthew) of Franklin and Wendy M. Freeman (Richard) of Franklin; her grandchildren, Alexis Salvitti, Skylar Freeman and Reed Freeman; and her sister-in-law Rebecca Fowler.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM on Tuesday in the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to Elevate Church of Windsor, 23486 Deer Path Trail, Windsor, VA 23487.
