She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Henry Jarratt and Gertrude Brockwell Jarratt; her husband Robert Rawls Nance, Jr.; her sons, Chris Nance (Holly) of Franklin and Jeffrey Nance (Casey) of Yorktown; her sister Rebecca Watts; her grandchildren, Madelyn and Carter Nance; and her pet Roxie.
The family would like to thank Brenda's caregivers, Brenda Lee, Lillie Hunt, Robin Hudgins, Mary Boone, Annette Giles, and Hailey Morgan plus the staff of Bon Secours Southampton Medical Center and the East Pavilion for their comforting strength and loyalty during this pandemic.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home and suggests that memorial donations be made to Thomas Memorial Baptist Church, Drewryville, VA 23844.
