He is survived by: his children, Robert Berry Compton, Jr., Pamela Faye Compton and Janice Weddle (Jerry); his granddaughters, Kenzly, Brooklyn and Taylor Weddle; his siblings, Leland Compton (Wilma), Austin Compton (Teresa), Marie Dockery (Billy Joe), Elva Beaver (Bennie), Mary Collier and Fay Compton; and his great-nephew Logan Dockery (Little Tom). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
