He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Maxey and Jinx Maxey. He is survived by: his uncle Andrew Dunn; his brother Mike Maxey of Elliston; his nephew Chris Maxey (Nikki) of Reesedale, VA.; his children, Scotty Maxey of Florence, SC, Michele Maxey, Suzanne Wilsey (Josh) and Andrew Maxey of Sumter, SC.; his grandchildren, Shawn, Maranda, Jonathan, Kaylee, Mackenzie, Owen and Cassandra of Sumter, SC; and also, Shorty and Nannie Minnick. He is also survived by children, and Ruby Starkey and her children.
