He is survived by: his wife Betty Stephens Davis; his daughters, Valerie Evans of Virginia Beach, VA, Veronica Hairston of Greensboro, NC and Tiffany Giles of Dry Fork, VA; and his brother John Lewis Davis of Staunton, VA. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
