He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas Russell Sr. and Martha Satterfield Russell; and his niece Laura Gayle Hensley. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer B. Andrews; his children, Kyle Russell, Hunter Andrews, Amanda Bess and Heather Thompson (Josh); his granddaughters, Olivia Bess and Addison Thompson; his siblings, Linda Hensley (Curtis), Van Russell and Johnny Russell (Dagmar); his nephews, Craig Hensley, Sean Russell, Adam Russell and Mark Russell; and his niece Amy Hensley. He is also survived by numerous cousins, extended family, and friends.
