He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna Elizabeth Adkins Mahan and Leslie Gold Mahan; his brother Wayne Mahan; and his sister-in-law Judy. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Smith Mahan; his son Anthony Mahan (Adrienne) of Chatham, VA; his sister Judy Stickel (Don) of Chatham, VA; and his granddaughter Josie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and a nephew.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Greenpond Baptist Church (7176 Anderson Mill Rd, Chatham, VA 24531). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
