She was predeceased by: her parents, Quince Nichols and Callie Moore Nichols; her husband Robert C. Sweet; her children, Mary Tester, Louise Rhymer, Mildred Landers and Ronnie Reed; her grandchildren, Randy Slagle and Sherry Slagle; her great grandchildren, Whitney Broome and Brandon Greene; and her siblings, Ray Nichols and Edna Hand.
She is survived by: her children, Cathy Sweet Weaver (Carmon) of Laurel Bloomery, TN and Robert Sweet (Cyndy) of Bristol, TN; and her daughter-in-law Debbie Reed of Damascus, VA. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Damascus Church of Christ.
