He was predeceased by: his parent Charlie Trent; and his son Phillip Guins. He is survived by: his parent Elizabeth Trent; his wife Inez Trent; his son Steven Guins (Kelley King); his grandchildren, Hayley Guins, Kyle Guins (Abigail) and Kaitlyn Guins; his great grandchild Phillip Guins; his daughter-in-law Celeste Burt (Matt); and his sisters, Brenda Taylor (Shelton) and Jane Craig (Roger). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to Beulah Baptist Church.
