He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Richardson and Helen Richardson; his sister Linda "Sue" McBride; and his nephew James Howard. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Adam, Casey, Tyler Richardson, Stephanie (David), Derrick Richardson (Kendra), Makenzie Wampler (Luke), Brodie Richardson, Michaela Newhouse, Oak Hill, Dylan and Brycen Richardson; his sisters, Freda Crabtree (late Lee), Nita Howard (Bob) of Roanoke, VA and Trish Akers (Troy) of Damascus; and his nieces and nephews, Tim, Eric Crabtree (Kelly), Brandi Owens of Johnson City, TN, Melissa Howard Glod (Matt), Beach, Jennifer Howard Morris (Bobby) of Midlothian, VA., Tyler, Derrick, Dylan, Brycen (Brodie Richardson) and Darren McBride (Tim). He is also survived by his sons, grandsons, nephew.
The family respectfully requests that visitors wear a face mask and adhere to social distancing recommendations.
