He is survived by: his son Avery Widener (Jaclyn Davenport) of Damascus, VA; his close friend Cindy Mathews; his siblings, Allen Widener, Martin Widener (Lapeta), Ellis Widener (Claudine), CJ Widener (Melva), Robert Widener (Lola), Rosie Ward (Troy), Jackie Shuler (Dennis) and Betty Heath (Edward); his niece Taylor Holman; his granddaughter Josephine "Josie" Grace Widener; and also Karsyn Robbins.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the funeral home to help cover funeral expenses.
