He was predeceased by: his parents, Jessie Rhymer and Lillie Thompson Rhymer. He is survived by: his children, Billy Dale Rhymer of Glade Spring and Debbie Cook (Ronald) of Johnson City, TN; his close friend Nancy Hand of Damascus; and his grandchildren, MacKenzie Broome, Chelsa Rhymer and Trevan Rhymer (Brooke). He is also survived by two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
