He was predeceased by: his parents, Davis Grayson and Sarah Rich Yonce; and his brothers, Stuart Yonce, Eddie Yonce and Virgil Yonce.
He is survived by: his wife Ethel White Yonce; his sons, Mark Grayson Yonce (Kim) of Roanoke and Robert Davis Yonce of Pulaski; his grandchildren, Jeremy Yonce, Taylor Yonce, Cross Yonce and Virginia Yonce; and his siblings, Howard Yonce, Carl Yonce (Doris), Jerry Yonce (Judy), Rufus Yonce (Celerina), Mabel Cline, Aileen Brown (Ted), Darlene Garland and Frances Smelser.
