She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley F. McGaha and Janie L. McGaha (Jones); her former husband Robert Carroll Ellis, Jr.; her siblings, Audrey Minor, Willard "Sonny" McGaha, Edward "Mac" McGaha, Huge McGaha and James "Frank" McGaha; and her grandson Justin Reid Ellis.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Ellis and Robert Carroll Ellis, III. She is also survived by her children, she is survived by eleven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
