He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra Stapleton of Coeburn and Brenda Irvin of Olathe, Kansas; his brother Cruce Davis (Carol) of Coeburn, Virginia; his brother-in-law Gary Welch of Bristol, Virginia; his grandchildren, Brenna Irvin, Rebecca Deschenes and Robert Irvin Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Bobby Bowen Irvin, Baylor Irvin, Colt McKinley Irvin and Carter Michael Deschenes. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
