She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry and Orpha Carico Meade; her siblings, Virgil Meade, Les Meade, Raymond Meade, Hazel Marshall and Trula Large; and her former husband John H. Hamilton Jr..
She is survived by: her brothers, Lewie Meade (Reginia) and Shelton Meade (Marsha); her stepchildren, Danny Hall (Linda), Sammy Hall (Patty), Gaye Puckett (Tommy) and Vera Hess (Kleg); and her caregivers, Vickie Slemp, Eliza Smith and Sabrina Deel. She is also survived by several nieces and nephew.
