He was predeceased by: his parents, S. B. Williams and Erma Stallard Williams; his sister Sandy Williams; his niece Beverly Garrett (Roger Garrett); and his nephew Kenneth Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Ruby Williams; his children, Brian Williams (Michelle) of Appalachia, VA, Bergetta Ward of Coeburn, VA and Eric Williams (April) of Bluefield, WV; his stepdaughter Connie; his children, Johnny and Melissa; and his sister Shirley Williams. He is also survived by previous marriage; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
