It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Floyd Buchanan of Coeburn, Virginia, who passed away on April 16, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Odis Buchanan and Savannah Buchanan; his brothers, Frank and Eugene Buchanan; and his grandson Ryan.
He is survived by: his wife Gail; his child Melony (Johnny Adkins) of Coeburn, VA.; his grandchildren, Josh, Grant Adkins, Natasha Couch and Logan Renfro; his great grandchildren, Olivia, Payton, Isaiah Adkins, Cayne Rose, Poppy Couch, Ella, Raylee, Adeline, Carson and Shepherd Renfro; and his siblings, William Buchanan of Coeburn and Joyce Fail of Norfolk, VA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and special friends.
