He was predeceased by: his mother Sally Stanley. He is survived by: his father Edmon Stanley; his siblings, Onedah Stanley, Farrell and Anthony Stanley; his aunts and uncles, Jerry Stanley (Linda), Danny Stanley (Dresden), Roger Puckett (Diann), Joseph Lynn Puckett, Rosie Belcher, Gardenia Stanley, Bea Leighton, Peggy Brooks, Arlene Puckett, Betty Puckett, Bonnie Runions (Dan), Pam Puckett, Becky Woods (Dean) and Johnnie Belinda Thompson (Clinton); his grandchildren, Johnny and Bertha Puckett; his aunts and uncles, Walter Gray, Freddie, Cecil, Joe, Jimmy, Lois, Glenda, Gay and Josephine; and his cousins, Michael, Philip, Sandra, Wesley and Erin Ruth.

Due to Covid, both visitation and service will be held outdoors at the Alvin Stanley Family Cemetery at 402 A J Stanley Rd, Clintwood, Virginia.
