He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lane and Hazel Lane; his stepmother Katherine Lane; his siblings, Hubert, Marshall Lane and Judy Belle Lane; his nephew John Cale Golden; and his niece Anthena Michelle Lane.
He is survived by: his brother Johnny Lane (Kimberly) of Grundy, VA.; his aunt Mary Kirkpatrick of Grundy, VA.; his nephew Kelley Golden (Laura) of Kingsport, TN.; his nieces, Kimberley Lane of Greensboro, NC., Rebecca Lyes (John) of Rockwall, TX. and Alexandria Lane (Brent Reid); and his cousin Jim Lane of Clintwood, VA..
