It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dossie Stidham (Clintwood, Virginia), born in Mayking, Kentucky, who passed away on May 28, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fitzhugh Taylor and Nellie Smith Taylor; and her husband James Stidham. She is survived by: her children, David Stidham of Pound, Curtis Stidham of Wise, Robert Stidham (Dorothy) of Pound, Fitzhugh Stidham (Halen), Wanda Clay of Wise, Teresa Caudill of Pound, Patricia Sturgill (Wade) and Pamela Campbell (Jim); and her siblings, Coy Taylor (Nancy) and Marcell Dingus (Lee). She is also survived by 27 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.
