It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Columbus Edward Stanley (Clintwood, Virginia), born in Clinchco, Virginia, who passed away on July 2, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Alvin; his grandmother Hay Stanley; his wife Sally Puckett Stanley; his son Johnny Alvin Stanley; his siblings, Cecil, Joe, Jimmy, Danny Stanley and Josephine Hanson; his children, Onedah Stanley, Farrell and Anthony Stanley; his siblings, Rosie Belcher and Jerry Stanley (Linda); his siblings-in-law, Bea Leighton, Dresden Stanley, Peggy Brooks, Arlene Puckett, Betty Puckett, Bonnie Runions (Dan), Pam Puckett, Becky Woods (Dean), Johnnie Belinda Thompson (Clinton), Roger Puckett (Diann) and Joseph Lynn Puckett; his friends, Hill Ridge and Clinchco Holiness Church; and his close friends, Bill Large, Walter Bryant, Clyde Hill, Versie Wells, Russell, Brenda Branham and Gerry Gaby.
