He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ott and Ruby Hanger (Markley); his brother Charles Hanger; and the mother of his children Betty Hanger. He is survived by: his wife Martha Lucas; his children, J. Mark Hanger (Diane), Lisa Geiman and Lesley Dofflemyer; his stepchildren, Stephanie Miller (John) and Jonathan Clark (Amanda); his sister Joan Henley; his grandchildren, Kate Hale (Tom), John Hanger (Allison), Lance Hanger (Annie), Colby Geiman, Dolan Geiman (Alimarie) and Brecken Geiman; and his stepgrandchildren, Samuel Miller and Savannah Miller. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
