She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry and Gladys Elizabeth Mace (Edwards); her daughters, Joan Hevener and Jean Hevener; and her sisters, Madeline Hevener, Barbara Koliadko and Janet Wacker.
She is survived by: her husband Lacy Gene Hevener; her children, Joie Ray Hevener (Nancy) of Churchville and Debbie Battle (Mark) of Waynesboro; her siblings, Mary Collins (Dickie) of Ruther Glen, Alice Thomas (Dick) of Hagerstown, June Bustin (Fill) of Stafford and Johnny Mace (Jan) of Redlands, Calif.; her grandchildren, Nicole Hevener (Chris Cropper) of Houston, Tex, Meghan Williams (Jason) of Gentry, Ark, Tyler Hevener (Ashley) of Weyers Cave, Macey Gammenthaler (Doug) of Gentry and Victoria Tomlin (Josh) of Fairfield; her aunt Ellen Anderson of Fishersville; and also Honorary. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
