It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vance Vernon Duncan (Christiansburg, Virginia), who passed away on February 22, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ben Duncan and Virgie Phillips Duncan. He is survived by: his wife Lena Hollandsworth Duncan; his children, Pat Duncan of Norfolk, VA and Kai A. Duncan of Christiansburg, VA; his grandchildren, Gabrielle Duncan Dunham of Auburn, AL and Sean Duncan Dunham of Austin, TX; and his siblings-in-law, Lora, Sonny Gunter, David Haynes, Eloise Funkhouser, Phyllis and Glenn Boyd. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
