He was predeceased by: his father Early J. Flinchum; and his grandparents, Early, Lena Flinchum, Mathew and Felicia Ward.

He is survived by: his mother Gladys W. Flinchum; his siblings, Linda Long (Curt), Shelby Edmonds and Dwayne Finchum (Dana Miller); his niece Alexandra; and his nephew Jonathan.
