It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roxie Ford Palmer of Christiansburg, Virginia, born in Pocahontas, Virginia, who passed away on July 20, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Allen Palmer; her children, Aaron Palmer (Lidia) and Angela Banks (Rudy); her grandsons, Andrew and Melvin Palmer; her brothers, Ronald and David Ford; her mother-in-law Pauline W. Palmer; her siblings-in-law, Barbara Mckenzie, Odell Palmer Jr. (Karen), Phillip Palmer (Shirley) and James "Bubby" Christian; her nieces and nephews, Steven Jackson (Cynthia), Vanessa Jackson, Karon Jackson, Jamey Kirby (Brandon), Alexis Pearson, Dwan Ford, Freddie-Nicole Mckenzie, Keith Palmer and Marisha Kirby; her cousin Richard Ford (Doris); and her close friend Patricia Palmer (Roanoke). She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
