He is survived by: his wife Virginia Faye Kittinger; his children, Deborah Rena Kittinger of Christiansburg, Steven Dwayne Kittinger Sr. (Angela Dawn Kittinger) of Blacksburg, VA., Virginia Malinda Burke (Ronald Scott Burke) of Pulaski, Robert Edward Kittinger Jr. and Michael Wayne Smith; his grandchildren, Melissa Dawn Kittinger, James David Kittinger, Kevin Kittinger (Shaunie Kittinger), Steven Kittinger Jr., April Smith (Alex Smith), Shirley Kittinger Reed, Cory Burke and Kaitlyn Finney (Jeremiah Finney); his great grandchildren, Andrew King, Buddy Davidson, Paislynn Smith, Braylin Smith, Kashden Smith, Addilyn Meredith, Taylor Reed, Isabella Kittinger and Delilah Finney; his siblings, Jeanette Kittinger, Samuel Kittinger (Juanita Kittinger) and Reverend James Kittinger (Coleen Kittinger); and his uncle Nat. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
