He was predeceased by: his parents, John Walker and Leler Lovern Sweeney; and his wife Patricia Hodge Sweeney. He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra Clontz and Sherry Parsons (David); his sisters, Louise McCoy and Garnet Linkous (Fred); his granddaughters, Angela Alderman (Jay Mathis) and Amy Kokkinakos (Steven); and his great grandchildren, Mackenzie Mathis and John Kokkinakos.
