She was predeceased by: her parents, Montie J. Lucas and Margie Lester Lucas; her husband Colen Teel; and her siblings, Randolph, Ralph, Raymond Lucas, Irene Thompson, Virginia Altizer and Ida Mae Bishop.
She is survived by: her daughters, Alice T. Hinterschied (Michael) of Norcross and Joan T. Hannah (David) of Radford, Virginia.; her sister Jackie Shelton of Christiansburg; and her siblings-in-law, Freda Teel of Christiansburg and Joe McKenzie of Lebanon, Ohio..
