He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Ray and Allie Hurst Mottesheard; his siblings, Helen Augusta Mottesheard, Geneva Leona Mottesheard, Clifton Hurst Mottesheard and Samuel Ray Mottesheard; and his nephew Gary Noel Mottesheard.
He is survived by: his brother Max Garland Mottesheard; and his nieces and nephews, Candace Mottesheard Smith (Lenny), Donna Jean Laux (Richard Slagter), Jerry Wayne Mottesheard, Jeffery Mottesheard (Linda) and Phillip Mottesheard (Jenny). He is also survived by many others family members and friends.
