She was predeceased by: her husband Senator Madison Marye. She is survived by: her children, Charlotte and Jim; her grandchildren, Tyler, Jim II, Julia and Emily; and her great grandchildren, Romina, Lucas, Ellis, Olivia and Robi.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in the name of Charlotte U. Marye to White Memorial Methodist Church in Shawsville, or the Montgomery County, Virginia ASPCA.
