He was predeceased by: his parents, Brantley Alfred and Mattie Miller Shrieves; and his former wife Rita Isdell Shrieves. He is survived by: his wife Alice Ruth Shrieves; his son Weston (Ashley Shrieves); his granddaughters, Addy and Ryleigh Shrieves of New Church, Virginia.; his daughter Lanae (Bryan Schuster) of Salisbury; and his cousin Randy (Dawn Miller) of Parksley Virginia. He is also survived by aunt and uncle, many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 9th 2020 from 7:00-9:00 pm at Island Baptist Church on Chincoteague, VA.Burial will take place at Liberty Cemetery in Parksley, Virginia.In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Island Baptist Church 3380 Willow Street, Chincoteague Island, VA 23336.
