We are sad to announce that on January 1, 2022, at the age of 89, Ruth Birch Reed of Chincoteague Island, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Birch and Cecil Birch (Richardson); her husband Stanley "Chick" Reed; her daughter Carla Reed Wells; and her siblings, Harry Birch, Georgie Bloxom and Lois Wilgus.
She is survived by: her daughters, Theresa Reed Franklin, Melodie Reed and Crystal Reed Hyett; her sister Gail Horner; and her grandchildren, Candice Alba, Matthew Mason, Robert Mason, Anthony Franklin, Skylar Geminiani and Cole Hyett. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
