She was predeceased by: her spouse Newman R. Merritt; her parents, John Milton Jones and Madeline Gordy Jones; her siblings, Fred Jones (Doris) and Erma McAllen (Dick); her siblings-in-law, Blanche Matthews, Paul Merritt (Helen) and Carl Merritt (Elizabeth); and her nephews, Greg Merritt, Calvin Matthews, Johnny Matthews and J. F. McAllen.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patti Ann Merritt and Jane Merritt Daisey; her granddaughter Sara L. Daisey; her son Walter Ladish; and her nieces and nephews, Linda, Joan Murden, Fred, Royce, Jeffrey, Daryl Jones and Rick Matthews.
