He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Bickel and Irene Siedeler Bickel; his wife Janice Elizabeth Bickel; his daughter Peggy Ann Willard; and his siblings, Marie Jezerk and Gordon John Bickel.
He is survived by: his children, Walter Bickel (Carol) of Corpus Christi, TX and Mildred Foster (Dennis) of Morehead City, NC; his sister Mildred McKeever of Houston, TX; his grandchildren, Alex, Olivia, Joshua Chris, Chassity, Samantha, Lauren and Amelia; and his great grandchildren, Trey, Brooks, Khloey, Piper, Brody, Greenlea, Mia and Blaze. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
