He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ellen; his children, Kristen Kloss (David) of Indianapolis, Amelia Fiser (Erich) of Papillion, NE, Paula Sebastian (Joseph) of Portland, OR, Karl Barkman (Linda) of Aliquippa, PA and Thomas Barkman of Pittsburgh, PA; and his brother Edward Bernhard (Mary Kay) of Pittsburgh, PA. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
