It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Wimbrow Sr. of Chincoteague Island, Virginia, born in Stockton, Maryland, who passed away on August 21, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Wimbrow and Mary Wimbrow (Ennis); and his siblings, Douglas Wimbrow, Jr., Buzz Wimbrow, Margaret Hinnman, Eloise Ennis, Jackie Wilson and Calvin Wimbrow.
He is survived by: his wife Daisey Wimbrow of Chincoteague Island, VA; his children, Laurie Ann Thornton (Eddie) of Chincoteague Island, VA and Charles Raymond Wimbrow, Jr. (Amanda) of Atlantic, VA; his granddaughters, Tiffany Nicole Patton (Robert) of Chincoteague Island, VA, Jennie Bobitka (Brian) of Crofton, MD, Candi Marie Conner (Jon) of Chincoteague Island, VA and Ashley Elizabeth Wimbrow (Patrick); his siblings, Edward Frank Wimbrow (Linda) of Wattsville, VA, Norman Wimbrow (Sarah Lou), Elwood Wimbrow (Nancy) of Snow Hill, MD and Patsy Lambertson (Jerry) of Snow Hill, MD; and his brothers-in-law, Larry Merritt Sr. (Sharon) of Chincoteague Island, VA and Warren Hinnman of Gilford, VA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
