It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol S. Winder (Chincoteague Island, Virginia), born in Nassawadox, Virginia, who passed away on October 25, 2018, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Winder and Emil Winder; and her close friend Juanita "Snooks" Turlington. She is survived by: her daughter Laurie Haugh (Karl) of Chincoteague Island, VA; her grandchildren, Karla Haugh Hunter (Adam) of Chincoteague Island, VA and Nicholas Taylor Haugh of Chincoteague Island, VA; her siblings, Carolyn Bowden of Chincoteague Island, VA and Clarence Robert Taylor (Brenda) of Wallops Island, VA; her nephews, Chad Robert Taylor (Angela) of Virginia Beach, VA and Matthew Taylor (Tera) of Greenbackville, VA; and her cousin Debbie Groller (Ray). She is also survived by several great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
