He was predeceased by: his wife Helen M. Leneave; and his son Wayne C. Leneave. He is survived by: his children, Dorothy E. Smith (Lewis), William A. Leneave, Jr. (Billy), Daniel "Danny" N. Leneave and Robert W. Leneave (April); and his granddaughters, Shannon M. Brown (Daniel), Amber M. Leneave-Barton (Robert) and Hailey M. Leneave. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Hopewell Methodist Church.
