He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Pierson and Edna Fay Pierson. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Pierson; his children, Rose Hensley, Vicky Burnett, David Pierson (Jody) and William Keith Pierson (Tamela); and his sister Jacqueline Crites. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
