He is survived by: his children, Jervatus Brooks-Bell (James) and Courtney D. Turner, Sr.; his grandsons, Jaiquan M. Bell and Courtney D. Turner, Jr.; his great grandchild Braelyn MaKenzi Bell; his siblings, Flora T. Crenshaw (Charles), Lotta O. Davis (Milton), Pamela Majette (Lawrence), Clifford E. Turner and Gleen L. Turner; his aunt Irene Freeman; and his friend Mary B. Carter. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
