He was predeceased by: his wife Clara Short Pillow; his parents, Robert Pillow and Maud Pillow; and his siblings, Bob Pillow, Billy Pillow, Richard Pillow, Jack Pillow, Virginia Hunter, Jean Collie and Anna Cobb.
He is survived by: his children, James "Jimmy" Pillow, Jr. (Bridget) and Susan Rogers (John); his grandchildren, Bobby Pillow, Ashley Pillow and Kayden Rogers; his great grandchild Callie Pillow; and his sister Doris Melvin.
