He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Pace Nelms. He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Nelms, Becky McCracken (Charles), Kathy McDaniel (Stuart) and MaryBeth Davis (Rick); his grandchildren, Jessica Finfrock, Philip McCracken, Morgan McDaniel, Katie Klug, Jacquelyn Duggan and Rachael Sammons; and his great grandchild Charlotte Sammons. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
