It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Bohannon Lankford (Chase City, Virginia), who passed away on December 17, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Haney and Betty Parrish Bohannon; and her siblings, Harry Bohannon, Betty King, Patty Watson, Nellie Hazelwood and Charles Bohannon.
She is survived by: her children, Jane Kuhn of Lynchburg, Robert Lankford (Wendy) of Red Oak and Mark Lankford (Angie) of Clover; her grandchildren, Cassie Lankford (Reagan Roark) of Meherrin, Heather Lankford (Thomas Nichols) of Mt. Laurel and Chad Lankford of Clover; her great grandchildren, Scarlett Hatcher of Meherrin, Saylor and Gemma Nichols of Mt. Laurel; her siblings, Andrew H. Bohannon, Jr. of Amelia, Lillian Osborne of Wylliesburg and Dallas Abernathy of Kenbridge; her niece Joan Wallace of Drakes Branch; and her close friend Ida Wilmouth of Clover. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, great- grandchildren, and her many friends.
