He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Davis Guthrie and Isabelle Robbins Guthrie. He is survived by: his children, Stacie Goodman (Eric) and Ricky Wayne Guthrie Jr.; his brother D. Guthrie Jr. (Peggy); and his aunt Lois Gwaltney. He is also survived by three grandchildren and one great grandchild; nieces, nephews, and cousins.
