It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Neal Elwood Blackwell of Chase City, Virginia, who passed away on March 19, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elwood and Nancy Blackwell of Chase City, VA; his aunt Marie Lewis of Raleigh, NC; and his cousins, Bobby Harris, Billy Harris (Shirley), Buddy Brownd, Diane Rains, Larry Blackwell (Teresa), Gail Cogdill (Mike), Susan Liles (Skip), Ann Hodges (Milt), Dale Blackwell (Debbie), Joan Gibbs (Milo), Robert Bradsher (Vera), Joy Blackwell, Mark Blackwell (Kristin), Cindy Buffaloe (Mickey), Phyllis Blackwell, Karl Lewis (Jennifer), Forest Blackwell (Dona), Keith Lewis (Mary Jane), Gwen Harris (Larry), Karen McCarthy (Daryl), Kaye Berg (Don), Kirsten Spirakis (Pete) and Phyllis Smith Jackson.

Burial Service to be held at Mountain Creek Baptist Church Cemetery on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 1 pm, 2187 Mountain Creek Rd.Oxford, NC 27565 .Donations can be made to Olive Branch Baptist Church.
