She was predeceased by: her parents, John Penick and Annie Snead Penick; her husband Jimmy Lee Cheatham, Sr.; her children, Jimmy, Jr., Shirley and Donna Cheatham; her siblings, Elsie Carrington, Pearline Marable and Joe Penick; and her granddaughters, Teresa Cheatham Boyd and Felicia Walker.
She is survived by: her son Alfred Cheatham of Chase City, VA; her grandchildren, Marcus of Chase City, VA, Azablon of Chase City, VA, Javonte of Chase City, VA, Kevin Cheatham of Chase City, VA and Dominique Cheatham of Chase City, VA; and her friends, Patsy Keene and Mildred Fuller.
